Why InFlow for sports

Built around athlete behavior, not against it.

Patches, weigh-ins, and pre-practice surveys all depend on athletes doing something extra. InFlow runs in the background of a behavior every athlete already does, every day, without exception.

Daily readings, not occasional check-ins.

Every locker-room visit becomes a hydration test. Your sports science staff sees patterns that pre-practice weigh-ins miss entirely, by player group, by week, by training load phase.

PA-friendly. Zero player data.

No biometric data is collected, stored, or transmitted on any individual athlete. Compatible with existing player-association agreements and CBAs across every major league.

No consumables. No per-test cost.

Optical sensor, not chemical. 4,000 tests per charge, no reagents to expire, no per-athlete testing budget to defend mid-season. Once it's installed, it just runs.

Visible accountability, instantly.

A red light visible to teammates and staff hits differently than a number on a clipboard. Multiple programs report fewer IVs, faster behavior change, and a hydration culture that sustains itself.

Installs in seconds. Travels easily.

Two suction cups, no plumbing, no IT involvement. Equally workable in your home locker room, road locker rooms, training facility, and Spring Training / Combine setups.

Built into your training-staff workflow.

Aligned with USG (urine specific gravity) protocols your athletic training staff already uses. Calibrated against digital refractometry, peer-reviewed in Frontiers in Sports & Active Living.

The receipts

IVs down. Practices on time. Hydration culture, real.

"The least amount of IVs in 12 years."

Michelle Lomonaco, Associate Director of Sports Medicine at The Citadel, credits InFlow as a major part of her program seeing record-low pre-season IVs. We hear similar stories from training-staff leaders at every level of sport.

Frequently asked

Questions from sports science & performance staff.

No. InFlow collects zero personally identifiable data on any individual athlete. There's no biometric data leaving the device, no player-attributed records being created, and no individual surveillance, which is the entire reason it's compatible across every major US pro league. Our team can walk through exactly how it works with your medical and legal staff.
InFlow is calibrated to USG (urine specific gravity) thresholds your athletic training staff already uses. Green ≈ <1.012 USG, yellow up to ~1.025, red beyond. It complements pre-practice weigh-ins and any sweat patches you may use, without replacing the clinical judgment of your training staff.
Yes. InFlow uses optical urinalysis, peer-reviewed in Frontiers in Sports & Active Living. Performance is interchangeable with handheld digital refractometry, the clinical gold standard. NIH and NSF have funded research underlying the technology.
Most pro teams deploy InFlow across the home locker room, training facility, and key road / spring training locations. Hardware installs in minutes per unit (suction cup mount). Most teams are fully operational within the first week and are getting real-time hydration feedback by their second home practice.
A toilet-mounted version is currently in development. Today's product (InFlow) is urinal-mounted, so for women's locker rooms we currently coordinate with manual testing protocols. The toilet version will bring identical, continuous testing to any bathroom. Talk to us about early access. We're scoping pilots with women's pro and collegiate programs now.
